Sid Meier’s Civilization V (Mac OSX)
It's a turn-based strategy game based on the construction of a society are selected to become a world power. And, yes, civilized V can be taken seriously boring for outsiders often, but for people at the helm of the game each turn can lead to a serious decision, giving players a certain feeling of power that few, if any, matching game.
Civilizations do not have a campaign, instead it simply allows players to create their world and set out to jump on it, either by themselves or with others in the lot. The largest selection of players will make a civilization is what they will to play. Each civilization by a great leader of history, and a few special interests and the units, so "it is important to consider what type of victory you're out to achieve before when setting up your citizenship. For example, France has been the bonus culture which gives them a huge bonus for a cultural victory, while the German player will give players access to military units like the Panzer that could assist in the implementation of the world by force. Of course you can always choose a military leadership to focus and take them on a path towards a cultural victory, but this also presents a greater challenge.
In addition to selecting a country, players can customize their own scripts by switching between options such as viewing the world will be made of many continents or not, what they started in the era (Civ move in time, such as medieval, Renaissance, etc., which also affects the level of technology you have access to), and how many other civilizations that they want to compete with . It mainly makes infinite replay, giving the player a simple tool to manually set the challenges they want in the world many times.
And hell yes, this is the kind of game you want to just play over and over. Like its predecessors, Civilization V is surprisingly addictive, with games often draw more than five or six hours in my seat once. The reason? Because win or lose, Civilization V allows players to guide a craft society and the whole story of their own, taking them from the dawn of history and far into the future. I love to get Japan and make them into a nation of peace who wants nothing more than to make the Opera house and win over their neighbors through their culture, or the Aztecs and fashion a country that is powerful empire completely fascist and obsessed with world domination. Civilization V is really what you make of it, and for me it is a good way to tell stories about some of the countries most interesting history.
